Our Neighborhood
: The Our Lady of Grace Parish is located in the historic Chicago neighborhood of Logan Square. Named for civil war veteran and congressman John Logan, the neighborhood is one of 21 in Chicago's boulevard system and directly centered on the blue elevated line between downtown Chicago and O'Hare airport.

Parish -Taste of Grace
: Each year Our Lady of Grace joins together in a true celebration of our community's diversity ~ with food! Parishioners bring plates, trays, and baskets filled with baked goods, sweets, entrees from Guatamala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Germany, Poland, and the whole world over. This year, stop on by and join us.
School - After School Care Program
: Our After School Care Program runs from 2:30pm to 5:30pm for an additional nominal cost that is paid per hour and due weekly. A snack is included. Math tutoring is also available in the Library from 3:00-4:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All of our teachers are available before and after school for extra tutoring.
School-Fine Arts in our school
: Students participate in bi-yearly concerts (Winter and Spring), led by our music teacher. Grade 3, 4 and 8, participate in Urban Gateways, an extra art class that is included in their curriculum. The class is for seven weeks and students work on various large art projects.
School-Our involvement in science competitions
: Our 7th and 8th graders have found math and science competitions a fun way to meet new people, learn new skills and really delve into new concepts and materials. They also are able to compete with students from other area Catholic schools. The competitions encourage teamwork and allow students the opportunity to learn how to work together in a competitive arena.
School-Technology in our classrooms
: All classrooms are now wired and wireless, and teachers incorporate technology in the classroom. Last year our school participated in a grant given to Notre Dame High School for girls to integrate technology into elementary school classrooms. Our 8th grade teacher, Ms. Dzurovsak, jumped right in and received training on new tools she would incorporate into her classroom. An example is a robotic invention kit. The robot is intended to run on a chain of commands that the students build. They can have the robot dance, spin, dance even follow a predetermined course.
School-The benefits of a Catholic education
: Small class size: Catholic elementary schools enjoy an 18 to 1 student-teacher ratio. Measured success: Ninety-nine percent of students who attend Catholic secondary schools graduate and 94% of students who attend Catholic high schools attend college.
The Archdiocese of Chicago
: Established as a diocese in 1843 and as an Archdiocese in 1880. Territory: 1,411 square miles in Cook and Lake Counties. Catholic Population: 2,442,000. Largest Catholic School System in the United States. 11th largest in the country, public or private.
